Italian Switzerland

I had noticed on a Eurail map that from Brig I could head south on the Simplon Pass line, change trains in Milan, and return to Switzerland on a different line, all in the same day. So I did that. Though the connection in Milan did give me a few bad moments, with the margin whittled down to a few minutes, given the frequent delays in the Italian system. Thus in the evening I found myself in Lugano.
The next day I took myself on a walking tour of the lakeside.
The town fountain.

A town square.
Before reaching Zürich there are many picturesque passes.
